You may be interested in ...
Sometimes loses are better for your development than the winnings since it shows how far you've come and what still needs improving to get to that level.

Sweat in the eyes doesn't feel good.

Smiling makes a difference  ;)

If you want to have that smile on the competition floor, you have to practice that smile beforehand  :D

Yes, it is nice to get appreciation from the audience, especially when the marks are not that good on that day. That happens to everyone from time to time. Then it is nice when someone from the audience talks to you that they liked your performance.
